What to Expect - Our Process

  • Ready to systemize your space?

    Take up to 5 pictures, ideally one showing the room from the entrance and then a picture from each corner, but any pictures will do!

    Fill out our Project Request Form and attach your photos. Once we receive your request, we’ll get in touch to discuss your project and how we may be able to help further.

    Smaller projects, like decluttering, usually do not require an on-site consultation. Larger projects, such as moves and decluttering & organizing packages, or projects that require the purchase of additional organizing supplies may require an on-site visit to gather more details, measurements, and photos.

  • After we’ve got all the necessary details, we’ll set up a time to systemize your space! Every client and space is different, but here’s a rough idea of what you can expect:

    I’ll arrive on time and fully prepared to get to work. We’ll take a quick walkthrough of the space together, I’ll take before photos, and then I’ll get to work sorting and categorizing everything that’s in the space. This is when things start to feel a bit chaotic, but don’t worry! It’s all part of the process and I’m here to guide you, support you, and keep momentum going every step of the way.

    Once I have everything ready for you to review, I’ll ask you to head back to the space and we’ll start the decision-making process of keep, toss, donate, recycle, etc. While we’re combing through everything, you’re primary goal is decide what you truly want to keep - I’ll worry about where everything will end up after we’ve clarified what’s staying!

    After we’ve gone through the decision-making process, I’ll remove all trash and donations from the space and start the next phase of organizing process. During this time, I’ll lightly clean the space, containerize when and where possible, and place items thoughtfully and strategically while you take a well-deserved break!

    Finally, we’ll do another quick walk-through of the space to review where things ended up, how their categorized, and how the space functions. This is when we truly get to see the way you interact with the space and we may make some minor tweaks and adjustments. Once you’re fully satisfied, I’ll label any bins, shelves, or areas necessary, take after photos, and leave you to enjoy your lighter, calmer, systemized space!

  • Our goal is to give you all the tools necessary to maintain your systems yourself, but sometimes, organizing solutions are designed to be temporary, the needs of a space change, or family routines evolve.

    Whatever the reason a space needs a system reset, we’re always happy to lend a helping hand!
